Colombia's James Rodríguez almost runs over autograph-chasing fan

James Rodriguez, the Colombian striker almost leading the country to a World Cup win, has been criticized for this latest video to appear on Youtube.

In the video, the star can be seen outside of Real Madrid’s training ground, signing autographs from his luxury car.

When two children try to take a photo with the star, James speeds off, almost hitting the larger of his younger fans.

The star has received a tirade of abuse on Twitter.

“When fame affects your neurones. When you lose your mind, thinking you are God.” One fan tweeted.

This ins’t the first time this month that the star has had to consider his fans. During a Real Madrid versus Valerenga match, one fan ran onto the pitch to take a selfie with the football star.

James’ recent behavior and interaction with his Spanish fans has landed the Colombian striker in hot water.

Real Madrid recently suspended the player, under orders that he was “punished by the coach and his team mates.”

James was criticized for taking a month off prior the the Copa América tournament, while his team mates were in training.
