Costa Rica and Puerto Rico are happiest countries in Latin America, according to World Happiness report

Costa Rica (14) and Puerto Rico (15) are the happiest countries in Latin America according to the latest version of the World Happiness Report.

Denmark was rated the world’s most happiest country for the second year running. Switzerland, Iceland, Norway and Finland were also within the top five.

In the latest list of the world’s 157 happiest countries; Brazil (17), Mexico (21), Chile (24), Panama (25), Argentina (26), Uruguay (29), Colombia (31), Guatemala (39), Venezuela (44), El Salvador (46) and Nicaragua (48) topped the UN affiliated report from the Latin American and Caribbean, daily El Tiempo reports.

Burundi was rated in 157 place.

Ecuador (51), Bolivia (59) Peru (64) and Paraguay (70) were ranked the least happy in Latin America. Access to healthcare, wellbeing, interfamilial relationships, corruption and socioeconomic difficulties were taken into consideration for the report.
